Great lesson for me!
Very useful lesson. Let’s do the major pentatonic also. You always make a lot out of something simple. That’s an art in itself.
Great free lesson Brian. This one is going to work well with that single string picking exercise I put in the members helping members forum. You’ll get this down in no time. I’m thinking about bar #7 16th note run in pattern #3. Bar both 1st and 2nd string at the 8th fret to make that lick a tad bit easier to manage. I’ve been looping that lick like mad as soon as this lesson came out.
I love the whole hand pattern slide review on transitioning to different patterns. That’s what we need. Repetition.
Great lesson. I love this concept.
Another light bulb goes on. Great lesson!
Wow! So easy to understand, it’s really awesome how you explain these concepts in a way that just makes sense to me. Love the Clapton vibe in this solo as well!
Loved it!
A really good tip. Nice lesson.
This simple idea has made a significant in my playing.
Hi Brian,
Yes it’s as you say for some of us. I was half way there but you have turned the light up many thanks.

Brian, in spite of not worrying about the chord changes you have a remarkable way of finding a chord tone at the chord change. G root on the Gm, C root on the Cm, b7 on the Dm and then b7 and 5 of the C7.
It really is an important part of why this sounds good.
Thanks for pointing that out. I was looking at that also.
Great lesson Brian. Lots of useful information
