The Cdim7 section appears to be based loosely on the half step whole step Bdim scale which appears to have the same notes as the Cdim half step whole scale. Is that the case?
There is also whole step half step dim scales to confuse things more, which of these two scales are used elsewhere?

Anyone have any thoughts on this?

    Hi Brian

I would like to let you know that I cruelly miss the technical explanations that you used to give with the micro lessons .I find it hard to work without those precious crutches that you suddenly ceased to provide after ML77.

Is it too much to suggest you started to give them again?

    Thank you very much

    Dom

I love this but like Dominique I can not get this without some charts and information on where your fingers are landing.

Love this piece, I use it for a warm up exercise or just for jamming. The dim7 section , I believe, is to build tension to take you back to the 4 chord.
