Description
In this MicroLesson (ML039) you’ll learn an minor key blues rhythm in the key of A. This can easily be transposed to any key (no open strings) and works great on acoustic or electric guitar.

Another great rhythm micro lesson. Thanks . The tablature heading for this says ML038 Fingerstyle. You might want to correct this.
Thanks for the heads up on this – I have corrected it and put the correct title.
thank you love your micro lessons a lot,
I’ve been having a ton on fun working on my rhythm guitar playing and your MicroLessons like this one and last week’s have been a great help. Thanks again Brian.
Brian really enjoying the micro lessons, thanks.
This is a fun one. Messing with it just a little and it became the riff of the Beatles ‘Money’
Sounds like “Money” to me.
I sure wish Brian would give a lesson on the Garage Band sound of the 60’s.

“Money, it’s what I Like” 🙂
the note on the 7th fret 2nd is not in pattern one is it ?
Correct. It’s not in pattern 1 of the minor pentatonic scale…. it is, however, in pattern 2 of the major pentatonic scale.
thanks Brian, love your teaching style. I’m am trying to get the feel of minor and major. Wild Horses solo sounds sad is that minor? Johnny b Goode sounds happy is that major? Or am I just feeling beats? Thanks
Wild Horses is in a minor key and Johnny B Goode is in a major key so you are correct. The beats / rhythm has nothing to do with major / minor. You can have a slow tempo major song or a fast minor key song.
thanks Brian, I’m getting there.
Merci beaucoup Brian.
sounds very cool, but i cant understand why the f# .you play and isnt in the scale. sory my english?
Hey Brian. Thanks I need the tab for the alternate E or a more detailed explanation of how that works. Thanks craig
