Description
This week’s guitar lesson is a slow and dark sounding blues composition that’s played solo guitar (no accompaniment required). This is also played fingerstyle so you’ll be keeping time by simulating a bass line on each beat. This sounds great on acoustic or electric guitar.

Is it just me or is Part 2 inaccessible to everyone. I just see an inactive vimeo link posted for Part 2. Nothing else.

What effects are you using? Are you using an overdrive pedal?
Brian says
No, just straight into the amp on this one,
Christopher C says

Another great this lesson Brian. I really appreciate the way you break down how you build your notes from the chords shapes and penta scales. This is very helpful.
Thanks
Ray

Brain! your driving me crazy! sooooooo many cool lessons and now this down and dirty bayou drag! (it’s a Biloxi thing) cant wait to jam with band friends it’s the prefect ‘tool’ to get each other warmed up and in sink, and plenty of places for everyone to show off a little free wheeling solos,, keep it coming buddy! love it!

Love the finger-style blues!🎶

This is hands down the most challenging one I’ve attempted to date. Nothing complicated at all but keeping that thumb on th beat is not as easy as it looks. Will preserve
Geeetar crazy says
I can’t keep my thumb beating and play the rest. I’ve just resorted to just playing everything else and using a loop pedal for the bass.

Great lesson, Brian…thank you!
Your bar 14 riff also sounds like a change Robert Johnson used in Kindhearted Woman
