Love the arrangement. Thanks for the comment about how Christmas songs can be difficult to play. I’ve struggled with them every year except for Jingle Bell Rock and this one seems user friendly too, plus it’s beautiful. Thanks Brian

Thanks for the tasty arrangement, Brian. This is one that I often play and sing for the family at Christmas. Though I do it in C, there should be a lot of your embellishments that will hold up after a 4-fret transposition. This should be fun!

Thanks Brian for taking me back to the old days from me and my dad, with all those sweet memories of expecting Christmas. A special thank you for the exellent explanation as always of why or where these notes came from. This is the reason of choosing you as my mentor. Keep on doing your good work. I don’t play much Christmas music but find I’m really taken with this. My big takeaway is the notes you play that are off the melody and how you phrase them. First half is quite easy to do something that sounds fine. Second half is a bit challenging on an accoustic guitar with how far you go up the neck and the bends but it’s good practice. Merry Christmas Brian!

    Hey Brian
I love this arrangement and in particular the beautiful guitar sound, it reminds me of Bert Weedon’ s sound. Are you using any effects, or just straight guitar and amp, please?

Is there a way to have the on screen tab viewer with just the audio of backing track. That way you are only one playing guitar part but have tab to keep you in time with backing track.

How do you keep doing this – amazing arrangements and beautiful renditions of classic songs? One day you need to do a video on how you make this all happen.

A new member – been on the fence for a while but this rendition was so sweet that I almost couldn’t resist. And then you laid out the jazzy blues arrangement this week and that just pushed me over the edge. I’m looking forward to this experience Brian.

Thank you so much, Brian, for this gift of music. Can’t wait to play around Christmas for family and friend. Is there a way that I may make the track’s ending smoother than the way it is now?

Went back over this song and used sound slice over & over again to make sure I used the same fingers you did to be sure I played it like you and also learned vibrato like you do after 40 yrs of trying to do it with just the fingers & I finally saw you shaking hand & keeping finger still mostly.Makes the song easier to play. Thanks for sound slice & being able to loop short sections at a time Thanks for you telling us just to keep trying & it will come. Have learned more from you in short time than over 40 yrs on my on & others. Fantastic song. Dave ” Merry Christmas”

I promised my wife that I’d learn a piece of Xmas music on guitar. This fits the bill perfectly and it’s fun to play with the dramatic bends with vibrato.
