Description
This is the third part of the country guitar solo / rhythm guitar lesson (EP003). This is a three part mini-series that shows you how to play both country lead and rhythm. If you’re viewing this out of context and want to start with part one, look for a lesson that starts with EP001! This lesson focuses on how to play the rhythm guitar part and uses a right-hand combination of both playing with a guitar pick and plucking with your fingers. If you’re new to this way of playing don’t let that stop you. I’ll show you how to get some really basic rhythms going with your right hand so that even if this lesson is too challenging, you can at least get started in playing this hybrid style.Make sure you watch the first 2 parts for the solo if you haven’t already.

Hi Brian,
My fingers are stiff and sore, my wife has gone out and taken the credit card muttering about the constant noise, my frustration has been at an all time high AND THEN I got the rhythm lesson all the way through. Brilliant! Can’t imagine how I can put it together with the other two lessons but I will have fun trying. Never been able to play like this and its all down to your teaching. Well done! You will have to do some more now, even a premium lesson when we can show our appreciation. I’m sure you could do some J J Cale type country/blues stuff which would not be too hard to grasp.
Thanks again. I will play it to my new grandchild when he/she arrives this weekend and hope it encourages him/her to play guitar he/she is older. They will have loads of guitars to try!

great lessons Brian .. yes it s worth investing to become a better guitarist. Even if only playing at home in your bedroom on in the parlour at week ends.
Eventually the penny will drop and the jig saws pieces fit together after hours and hours of practice…..
its the same for most only the truely gifted may take short cuts…
All the Best Brian … Thank you ..

Great lesson! Hybrid picking and breaking away from strumming songs. This lesson makes for an easy transition into a much more enjoyable style of playing. This is the way to really learn how to play guitar.
