Driving Blues Rhythm Created with Triads – Blues Guitar Lesson – EP255

Description

In this week’s guitar lesson, you’ll learn how to play a driving blues rhythm by playing triads and double stops. I’ll show you where these triads come from so that you can start to use them when you improvise. Strum patterns are included. The MP3 jam track with this lesson is available in multiple tempos as well.

Great lesson, this one’s really going to appeal to the rhythm players. I’m a little disappointed there’s no new guitar this week;-)

Thanks for another great lesson Brian. I am beginning the appreciate the importance of these different chord voicings. It does have a bit of a Steve Cropper feel.

Great rhythm! But your video doesn’t seem to follow the PDF. Or maybe I just missed something?

Great stuff Brian ,can you remember the lesson number which closely resembles this one i almost got it by memory ? it’s fantastic as you go on you start to recognise licks from other lesson’s and how phrases are re used or recycled and end up sounding different . I like the refer it back to the chord you drill in to us all the time it is really the best way to learn for sure .

Cracking lesson, I’m right into Cliff Gallup at the moment. Whilst this lesson wasn’t a rockabilly tutorial, a truck load of these licks can be slotted into that genre.
Thank you so much, my playing has improved out of site in the last 18 months since I have become a regular subscriber. More triads, easy to play sound awesome…

Good stuff Brian. I am new to your “classroom” and I really love what you are teaching, how you teach it and don’t just play over our heads like some great players (but not-so-good teachers) do all the time. Keep on Rockin’ and Bluesin’ on my friend!

Brian, this is excellent, your teachings, the MP3 files–normal and slow versions–I download them, draw them into a track of my Music Program, and record my solos onto another track. And the On-Screen Tab viewer….just great. I never subscribed to lessons before, your’s are outstanding, will keep me busy probably forever!
