Description
In this guitar lesson, you’ll learn how to play a classic rock rhythm in the style of Angus Young from AC/DC. Angus Young has always played the same heavy rock, blues guitar style throughout his career. This lesson is built in layers (much the way that AC/DC structures their songs). The first time through, it’s only guitar, second time through it’s guitar and drums, and the third time included rhythm guitar, bass and drums. In addition to the chords, you’ll learn several fill licks to play in-between the chords.

Wow!! Which musical genius inspired U to fire up the SG (OK…………335) to come up with this superior high energy, amped up lesson, Brian!!??? Jim C.
Very nice. Enjoying the new chord voicings. Thanks
Brian,
Sounds great! Thanks for including info on the settings – that helps.

Can’t wait to copy the tone, and march around my man cave in shorts (Angus Young style) with my 335.
Naaaaaaaaaaaaaa……….what did you have for breakfast….???? Awesome!!!!!

Nice change of pace and great way to see how blues is the father of rock n roll.

Can’t wait to get this down. It’s just great fun!!! Sounds good too.

Those riffs sound just like something that came from Mr. Young himself. Very catchy. And some great fills as well. Nice job Brian. This will be fun to crank up the over drive and let the neighbors know you mean business. Cheers!…
love it time to break out the SG! Thanks Brian
Brian you certainly have an ear for learning stuff to teach us,, coincidentally was playing a ton of new stuff on just my Gibson SG this late pm till now day..got through a bunch of cover songs before logging in and laughed because the last one i did was an ACDC ..This was/is really fun ..cheers!
Excellent Brian, another one for my favourites, also,I must say, the beard suits you!! cheers Phil
Great idea to come up with an Angus Young style lesson, Brian!
Everything you said turn to 10, I went to 11!
Love it!!
Not so sure the neighbours would agree.
Love that chord riff. It inspires a whole bunch of fill licks !!! Thanks Brian
Fun! Now I’m learning 7 songs and the guitar course and playing everything bad. 5 months and I’m going crazy all the different styles I want to be able to play it all… Another wonderful lesson.
Every guitar student should include some AC/DC in their repertoire, and this is a good lesson to build on. I plan to turn up the volume and dive deep into it.
Perfect for ‘da gub-ment series 335!!!

great band from down under, as they say its only rock n roll but I like it.
School of Rock ! Loving it and quick to master.
This matches so well in my personal “program” 🙂 Great sound! I know a highway to playing like AC/DC … thanks to Brian.
G/day Brian,
Rockin’ out on this. Great work, ole mate!
M.J.
As an aussie i hafta love this. I found that using my thumb for the F# on the D chord (sometimes on the G) made it even easier Is this correct or not? All the best from OZ Kenny Mac.
Absolute blast to learn and then play along to the jam track and with you Brian. Thanks
Hi Brian,
I just need to ask, is this composition in the key of G?
Thank you.
Jerry
Seems like it’s in A?
Fender in the case, out comes the Les Paul. Great, love chords and fill licks.
Very cool!
Love it! Like to see more Rock and Blues Rock.
Awesome what gauge strings do you use of this guitar?
great lesson! Would love some more hard rock lessons like this
Great lesson and definitely learning a great deal of things about AC/DC style chords and pentatonics.
