Been an active melody participate for several years now and still enjoy Brian’s lessons and take them seriously and to heart actually!.. So thought to ask which active melody members are the coordinators/staff/moderators here? We know from a time ago Bryce use to chief moderate.. It isn’t rocket science Brian can not deliver all this material and moderate forums at the same time so as it has been..simply would like to know here as a request , and no biggie to me but like honesty…. would like to know if in fact Brian has a hired staff be they active particpants or backstage staff ..UI know most here at this site. thank you all sorry but had to finally ask regardless lol enjoying!

Pretty sure that 6 Stringer Pete is the only moderator on AM at this point. Bryce was Admin for a period of time but I don’t think that Brian has appointed anyone as a replacement for Bryce.

I’ve been on this forum the longest and since I started with Brian, have to say that the forum has pretty much taken care of itself. It has always been based on respect and when a member would cross the line, several people would voice their disapproval and the problem was solved. I’m sure that Brian/Bryce/Pete has probably contacted the offenders offline but we have never had a long running problem on this forum as we have all seen on other forums.

I’ll throw this in too – there was a time that we discussed politics and current world events and only once did it get out of hand, the person voiced their opinion of the current President with a bit of profanity, and person left shortly afterwards.

As I mentioned – for the most part, this forum has always ran smoothly, largely because we have always been based on respect. Brian is fortunate that he doesn’t have to micro-manage this part of Active Melody

Thanks Keith, I read you too, I respect the members here and always do my best to aid in retrospect.I still can’t believe Brian can handle so much moderating and do studio recording lessons weekly so long… I been away practicing like I mentioned last few lessons..Brian is surely gifted if he really is doing both every week! lol anyway, glad to be part of it!

Bryce still maintains the Admin name. He probably does check in maybe moderates the forum lightly. Same goes for me. As Keith has mention the forum moderates itself due to the type of members we have aboard.
When a problem does come about, some members here contact me and if possible I take care of it.

or they go to Brian or may still go to Bryce

The melody of the notes is what expresses the art of music . 🙂 6stringerPete

It really is all about ”melody”. The melody comes from a language from our heart. Our heart is the muscle in music harmony. The melody is the sweetness that it pumps into our musical thoughts on the fretboard. 🙂 6 stringer Pete

I just can’t understand what is going on with the forums last year or perhaps when the forums new quick links was initiated .. I have to ask,,

Why was I the only reply to Ivan’s topic wishing Americans a Happy Thanks Giving?..

Maybe Pete Jola or Billy..perhaps even Ivan himself could answer in kind reply.. definitely weird filtering and it is obvious here on this site

where is my most recent discussions? just received an email reply for a forum question posted here minutes ago.. from WPENGINE.COM .. But weird I don’t see in most recent notifications on the forums I stated the inquiry issue and I checked subscribe to both threads .. actually no notification here only found the reply sent to my email box ( that email notification sent from WPENGINE.COM is no where under to be found either in my account notifications or on the thread topics I asked)

My most recent inquiry here was replied only to my email google account inbox from a source wpengine.com

weird that I have no notification here on this thread or my account notifications within this site?

Again what’s the issue and now I can ask what is wpengine.com?

I’m sure it’s the server on which the forum is hosted on, I would reckon you have “receive email notification” box ticked so you know when you have replies to threads you have created John.. I’m not 100% cos I’m on the Guinness right now and still trying to learn magnolia, just how do you pronounce “whirlpoolwill”, ..stupid name for a bird if you ask me!.

Billy, all I know is when logging in and reading the latest posts, I was the only responder to Ivan’s started thread/topic for wishing all happy thanks Giving on thanks Giving day.. A celebration Day for any American with only one kindly response to Ivan’s thread.. I PM’D Ivan about me being the only active Melody member responding..just say it is a weird site forum..I think it’s getting old here for me lol
