Unable to download backing tracks (MP3s)

Sorry … I’m 76 years old and not very computer friendly, so you’ll have to use simple language and clear instructions.

My computer’s operating is Ubuntu something-or-other. NOT Windows and NOT Mac.

When I LEFT CLICK on “Download mp3”, I get a black screen and the mp3 plays … but nothing downloads.

When I RIGHT CLICK on “Download mp3”, I get a menu that has nothing relative to downloading mp3s. And, of course, nothing downloads.

I have done a search to see what others have done. On one interaction there was some mention about “3 dots on the right”, but try as I might I cannot find any dots anywhere at all.

Any help would be appreciated.

That is normal. Now just LEFT click the vertically stacked three dots. It should display the download menu choice. It’s a bit convoluted that way it works, but you will get used to it.

Another method is to right-click and select “Save Link As…”

Oooh, I like that method Jola. I never understood why simply clicking the download link doesn’t immediately bring up the dialog box to browse where you wish to download it to. This would be very easy to do and much more intuitive, but for some reason Brian never set it up like that.
