A dear friend Bill Gow passed away suddenly yesterday; he was a long-time supporter of my music and about 7 years ago he came out to a club to film this little clip.
Just a couple of weeks ago he dropped in to show me his new Yamaha acoustic/electric guitar. He was so excited and we planned to get together to jam. But the damn cancer just overwhelmed him.In My Life was a favourite of Bill and his wife Anne who also died recently of cancer.
I can’t think of a better song to pay tribute to a life-long musical friend, especially since he came out that night to film it.
Rest in Peace Bill. -

If he died suddenly from cancer, then that’s a lot better than dying a long slow painful death, like a friend of mine with bone cancer is experiencing. And posting this well played duet was a nice tribute to your friend. At least he got to enjoy his Yamaha acoustic for a little while.
