Hey folks,
Came across the Bootleg Beatles doing this live on YT.
It’s an album track from the Help! album so I don’t think it’s super well known but I thought it was great so decided to cover it.
Normally I’d double track the rhythm parts but a bit of research told me that it was just a single track from George.
He and Paul did the octave solos together.
Nothing complicated here but it’s the Beatles so it’s always going to be good.
Hope you enjoy it.
Liam.

Whenever I hear something by the Beatles, I’m always all ears. Your excellent multi-instrumental performance really captures all the charm and brilliance of the original. I’m thrilled.

Great playing Liam. The video was great too. It must have been a lot of work syncing it all together.

Nicely done, Liam. These songs take me back to simpler times.

Thanks for the nostalgic memories, Liam. Saw the movie, had the album, loved the song. Played it over and over on Dad’s stereo in the living room with my parents telling me to turn it down. 😀

Yep takes us all back to simpler times… Great work-very captivating. Pulling this all together in such a seamless fashion is a great accomplishment. I love this genre of Beatles music. I always thought they were at their best in the late 50’s bouncin’ around the German pubs playing rockabilly. Tight guitar work (you’re gonna have to get a cheap Gretsch for these). Always a pleasure😎.John

I am not very knowledgeable on effects but, seems to me, you managed to capture the sound from that era really well Liam.
I enjoyed listening -:)

Not super well known? What are you talking about? Along with every other track on Help!, it set the world on fire 62 years ago, burnt indelible grooves into my brain, an exquisite Beatles song, oozing charm from Paul’s vocal to George’s lead to John’s electric piano and Ringo’s drums. You did a brilliant cover, I should get off my backside and do the same.
