Hi all! That was a challenging challenge!
I haven’t jammed with anyone before, and I realized I don’t improvise very well, at least not in this tempo.
So, I made a composition, not an improvisation… but I got a taste of what improvisation with someone is.
It’s a good idea to put this track into the routine practice.Israel

That’s a great tone that you have on that guitar Israel and you furnished us with some tasty sounding licks. Great job and I liked the run down at the end of the piece.

Played with accuracy and conviction Usrael. Tempo was spot on and transition from rhythm to single line was also excellent. Licks had variety with a bluesy feel and you finished off brilliantly with your final lick. Great performance. All the best!

That was terrific and considering your reservations it didn’t show. So much to like about this. Will take your advice and retrieve the backing track and use it for practice rather than let it beat me.

Yep certainly a difficult challenge this month ,I guess that’s why numbers are down . you kept the momentum throughout and in time with a swing feel and a variety of licks. I agree with you on keeping the backing track for practice there’s much to glean from it . Well played .

Anyway, Israel; you accepted and mastered the challenge. Stay tuned.
Play guitar just like you live; don't get bogged down in theory, it's just a tool without feeling.

That was great, Israel! You’ve got a great sense of rhythm, it was a foot-stomping good jam! I think most of us have pre-designed the licks for this challenge – well, I know I have. Just like you, I have never jammed with anyone and coming up with something coherent so fast is way out of my league. Nevertheless, I agree with you that it was a good practice and a good idea to keep doing it 🙂

It was a hard one this month. You found your own way to overcome the challenge and it turned out great! Some cool runs in there. This will no doubt help you practice on improving your improvisation. Good job!

Well played Israel. To me this is the fun part – playing and jamming with others. You got the idea of trading 2s with Brian and you just kept going.
Great job. -

I think many of us followed exactly you’re approach of preparing something, I certainly did! The hard work paid off and you sounded a duo and that was the aim. Good job. oh and I agree with you about keeping this as a background practice task.

Very well played, Israel. Many good licks there, even if you did compose them beforehand. Nothing wrong with that.
