Ive always been a fan of the west african blues since the Ry Cooder Ali Farka Toure record.
Ive seen Tinawaren a few times ,Tamikrest,bombino etc.
Any chance Brian might be able to do a lesson?
it sounds easy till you try to play it ,the phrasing can be quite deceptive
