Hi Peter,
I’m just taking a guess as I can’t actually see what’s going wrong, but it could be that the Jam Track is in a folder on the Active Melody site called “Your Lessons” or something similar. Hope you find them. By the way, what part of Scotland are you from? I’m in Australia myself but my family are originally from Parkhead, Glasgow. Cheers -

Being from Aberdeen, did you pay the $5.00 charge that’s required for downloading??? Just joking, I actually found the scots the most generous people I’ve ever met. I visited the granite city…Boy was it cold Brrrrr that North sea air is sure brisk. My family emigrated to Melbourne. Apparently it was either Australia or South Africa because both countries used green & gold national colors & my grandad was a Celtic man. Was a very good player in his day & we still have a cap he received being captain of the Scottish team that played England in 19?? I recently moved up the east coast just 3 hours from Sydney. It’s very rural & we are surrounded by bush & water. I’ve been to Perth many times in my working life but spent most of my time under machines I was installing. Did drive to Fremantle which was quite nice. Oh I have a photo of me & Jinky back in 1984 when I lived in Glasgow for a year. He is the only famous person I’ve ever met. He was a pal of my mum’s cousin & what a lovely guy. Terrible what happened to him. I’m sure Brian will help with the download problem when he reads your post. He would normally have seen it already, but it’s Thanksgiving weekend in America.

Wow, I worked security part time too, but in a hospital & only met looney’s ha ha ha. There have been some great performer’s come from Scotland, Andy Stewart, Glen Daly, The Corries…. LOL I’m kidding I love Texas, one of my favorite bands. Charlene Spiteri was so hot or was it that she was wearing a low slung Telecaster? Travis, Frankie Miller, Simple Minds not to mention that a lot of Australia’s top performers originally came from Scotland, AC/DC, Jimmy Barnes, Swanee. We are expecting big things from you LOL.
All kidding aside, you will enjoy it here as they’re a good bunch of blokes (I haven’t met any of the other species yet) & Brian just has a gift at teaching the guitar.
Cheers for now but contact me at anytime if you want to ask any questions or just want to talk guitar.

Hey Peter, did you ever get your issue resolved? Were you able to download the jam track files? If not, email me at brian (at) activemelody.com and I’ll send you direct links. Not sure what you’re experiencing – I can’t seem to replicate it on this end. You may also want to try a different browser, Google Chrome is the browser I recommend to everyone (it’s lightweight and free) – try that and see if it allows you to download .. if not shoot me an email and I’ll help you!

Peter, did you try download Google Chrome yet? I think that will resolve your issue. A lot of times your browser security settings can prevent downloading a zip file (which is what those jam tracks are in) – it’s usually easier to explain to people that they can download Google Chrome and try that as opposed to trouble shooting browser settings. So give that a try and let me know how it goes.
