Is there an alternate version of the tab downloads? The pages are printing correctly but the ledgers and tab positions, etc are so small as to be almost illegible without squinting my eyes. And that’s with my glasses on.

Shotgun I have printed lots of tab sheets here and whilst it is personal I haven’t found the printout to be to small a size to read but up a couple of points would be fine too. I don’t think you can adjust it but you maybe able to in Soundslice. I have not tried printing from that source. The only other way would be to use the PDF zoom feature to enlarge to the size you like, and then get a screen grab with a tool like snagit and print that as an effectively enlarged picture.
hope thats helpful

I use the interactive tab as the printout. I turn off the music notation and then click on the tab icon to get the rhythm incorporated into the tab. I then always enlarge the interactive tab to the largest I can get it all on one screen and then do a screen shot and paste into ms paint (or something like that).
Then I edit the tab to fix things or add notes on what Brian is doing.

A lot of members have mentioned the problem of tiny print, and printing from Soundslice seems to be the chosen solution. As for me, I have a music stand and I just put a bright light onto it, then sit as close as I can to it, and maybe squint my eyes a bit. I have the same problem with my eye-phone. How can people be expected to read text that is 0.3mm high?

Change the page orientation from portrate to landscape in your printer settings, then reduce the header and footer widths and you should be good to go.

I have found a solution that works for me but is a little tedious and it uses Windows 10. Like some of the previous replies I use screen shots of the soundslice player on Brian’s site.
1. First make the tab size larger and adjust the video of Brian on the left to get the size you want. 2. Screen grab about 2 rows at a time.
3. when I am done grabbing everything I then paste them into MS Word.
4 Then export the Word file to a PDF file. NOW WE ARE DONE!I use a program called ShareX (I use Windows 10, not sure if they have versions for other OS). It allows me to use short cut keys to screen grab, just easier that way. Attached are the original printed from the soundslice and my version. It took longer to write this reply than to actually do it.
You can tell I have too much time on my hands -

I simply print the PDF sheets directly from the download tab or print them directly to PDF from within Soundslice.
Then when I want a large(R) printout I use POSTER mode in Adobe Acrobat Reader.
Do some trimming with scissors, tape the sheets together and presto, no more squinting.
Why even bother with screen grabs or shrinking down Brian’s picture?
Learn from the large printout and use SoundSlice for the tough spots.
Anyway, that works like a charm for me.
