What do you think?
Personally I think the guitar is wonderful but the added lyrics just don’t do it for me.

Hmmmmmmmm 🤔. Whatever happened to the song!
Can’t say it worked at all for me and captured nothing of the pathos and soul of the original. Just another menacing sounding rap. Not sure the guitar worked that well in this context either though I kinda liked the tone.
Strange since it is Gilmour playing guitar. I sorta thought he was playing lead throughout the entire song and was just having fun getting down with it. But the rap lyrics are just not for me.

Can’t really relate to it. I’d probably enjoy it if it was a live shoot of a bunch of kids jamming their version in a dark, dank basement practice room somewhere in central Europe. Oh wait, kids don’t do that stuff any more.
Gosh, I hate rap. Comfortably numb was genius, this is a little too on the nose. I think this is commercialism at it’s worst pandering to the nihilism of youth. Oh well, I guess we had Black Sabbath back in my day.
John
I guess I sort of looked at it like it was exposing the master guitar work of David Gilmour to a new generation. But I’m with you John, I just can’t appreciate the rap lyrics either.
