For the March Challenge, we played our favorite blues lick. Many thanks to Manfred for an excellent idea! Those were some great short videos! Lots of useful info there.
Welcome to anyone on your first Challenge!

“Someday My Heart Will Be Healed” by Marie Jarreau (June 1, 2018)
Come Let me tell you a story of love
For many, it fits like a gloveHe said I was the sweetest thing that he’s ever seen
And I let it go straight to my head
In my mind he took me places I’d never been
But when it broke don’t you know my heart bled
(short lead)Now there are many fine things in this world I could be
One of them’s just being me
So I’ll patch up my heart, wear affection like art
And selectively share what I feel
(longer lead)When love takes your heart and your mind leaves you blind
The only escape lies thru the tunnels and passage of timeSo I’ll hide behind clouds as I’m laughing our loud
Knowing someday my heart will be healed
And I’ll smile at the “Man in the Moon” when I’m glad
Recalling the times that we had(To END: repeat first verse)
