I am old and slow and learn pieces one bar at a time. In ML139 only one hammer on is shown for the fifth bar, but your video playing has two.

Brian often adlibs a little when playing multiple times. If you like it with two, and can play it that way, write it in and play it. I’m sure Brian would tell you to have fun with it, and add to it, make it your own by adding or removing embellishments as it pleases you. He really encourages self expression.

How did you determine the video shows two hammer-on’s? The tablature will always try to be accurate to what he plays in the demo and the slow walkthrough. What he does in the teaching video may differ sometimes. I just looked at the video that is in sound slice and the tab matches perfectly with the video, so I assume you are talking about the teaching video.

Go slow and practice correct technique, and your abilities will dramatically improve.
