Maybe somebody could help me with this question. In micro lesson 111 in the interactive viewer bars nine and 10, could somebody please look at that and tell me if I’m reading it right. Bar nine especially seems like there’s a five(5) there meaning the fifth fret of the third string that doesn’t seem to belong there. If Somebody could just play those two bars nine and 10 and tell me how it worked out, and if there’s a mistake there
thanks
Todd
Funny, I also noticed it just last night.
The note is correct but not the location of it, it should be noted as 9th fret of the 3rd string, just like the E note at the beginning of the same bar. You can see in the standard notation above that it is the same note (E).
For some reason, such glitches do happen once in a while. If anything, maybe it’s to make us think and realize that 😉

Thanks Jo, I knew what made sense, but that five there was just throwing me off I had to make sure that it wasn’t me making the mistake. If that makes sense. Thanks again for all your help now and at another times
Yeah, sure. It definitely threw me off as well until I realized it was the same note.

I’ve definitely noticed occasional alternate fingerings across various lessons (as in, sound slice doesn’t match what Brian is actually playing.) I assume they’re auto generated by the software, rather than manually entered.
