Dear ActiveMelody community,
I watched an old piece by Brian to analyze his licks. It’s MicroLesson 083 – 2-5-1 Jazz By Yourself on Guitar. It’s also called Shorts 22.
I’m not sure if my analysis is correct, so I’d like to ask the community how you would see it.
In bars 3, 7, and 11, Brian takes the notes for his licks from the D minor scale.
In bar 9, Brian takes the notes for his lick from the C major scale.
And in bar 4, Brian takes the notes for his lick from the G# diminished scale.
