I beg your indulgences here. I couldn’t stop at just one lick. I couldn’t share one without the others. 😎 The second and third licks are in the style of one of my favorite styles-adapted to suit my needs. Had it not been for Active Melody, I don’t think I ever would have gleaned them for my own use. They both have that rockabilly twist to ’em. The first lick however, was take from Brian’s Country Blues-EP 340 and might be useful for a turnaround or something like that. Have a listen.
Great lick from the start, but the others fit in nicely
Well done John.

Those are great licks, but I reckon they would sound better on an acoustic. But that’s just personal preference.

Nice strat pickin John. I tried playing around with that first lick and it’s definitely a fun one.
Go slow and practice correct technique, and your abilities will dramatically improve.
Love the bounce and energy of the finger picking rhythm. And the licks fight right in. Well played!
Hi John, I like these Rockabilly runs and licks….and I recognize some of them!
It sounds very good with fingerpicking. I remember when you posted one of your first finger style playing.
You have very much improved.
