Hello AM friends,
Challenge: Borrow a lick from a EP and play it in another EP:
Lick is from EP600 between 0.18 – 0.22. Kind of chromatic bend.
Played in EP617( Dark ambient lead) around 1.01 & 1.64.Dark heavy ambient vibe.
Played lead with my Strat, and power chords with my Warmoth.
Eastwest: Low pad and somekind of sonar. Here it is!

Your David Gilmour today Andre. You made that original sound much more like Floyd using the electric guitar for sure. Well done.
Go slow and practice correct technique, and your abilities will dramatically improve.

Awesome Andrè. Dark and emotive. I thought I was listening to Pink Floyd’s The Wall. Cool sonar effect too. And awesome video.

A creative piece André, definitely Pink Floyd inspired. I loved the dark side to it and the repeated motif, could be intro music to ‘The Last of Us’ or ‘The Walking Dead’

That’s pretty cool, Andre. Dark and foreboding. Right up there with your Halloween production from a couple of years ago. Well played with great recording effects.

To me, that was the most fun thing to watch and hear that has come from your offerings. I’m pretty sure you’ll be contacted by some movie producer wanting to use it in their next movie. Elegant simplicity!

The dark side of Andre!
Whoa, I love what you did with Brian’s track.
Great effects, great lead playing. great rhythm.
Man, how did you get that tone out of your Strat?
That was so inspiring.

Man, I’ve so enjoy these big, epic submissions you’ve treated us too over the last few challenges. So much depth with all the layers, like the sonar, and very Floyd like. The dark stormy skies in the video all add to the dark and brooding mood of the music. I’d toyed with idea of using this backing track too, glad I didn’t as it couldn’t have compared to this!

Woah, talk about dark and moody! Yes, very Gilmour-ish by design and quite intense! I loved the heavy power chords contrasting with the metallic sounds and the string scratches giving me chills. Good thing I listened to it during the day! 😉 Incredible production, André, I am amazed at your full scale productions and I always look forward to seeing what you come up with, this one is definitely from your top shelf.

Wow, that’s a somber “painting” set to music—an excellent example of how to evoke emotion with a guitar. Great!

Congrats André! You created such a mysterious atmosphere! I remember I’d love EP617 so much, thanks for reminding me!

Dark? The opening chord makes me feel like I’ve just stepped on a landmine! Interesting to see Brian play it with an acoustic, I think your Strat does it much more justice.
