Hello friends in this months Challenge I combined some slow blues and some rockabilly, using riffs from Ep 621 and some double stop rockabilly riffs,it was very fun and I learned a lot from doing this, I look forward to doing more if this in the future it really helps taking an idea and using it in other styles, hope yall enjoy!

That’s a great lesson, and it fits so well in the rockabilly style too. Great point to drive home- with a little creative tinkering we can get extra miles out of every lick we learn!

Great submission Wayne, I could have listened to more of that. Great rockabilly tone on your guitar.

Yeh, that was a good one Wayne. Like you, I also learned some new stuff from working on this challenge. In fact, I learn something every time I participate. Considering all the AM fans and members out there, I wonder why more members don’t participate in the challenges. Are they just shy?

Love it Wayne-sound pro level. Short/sweet to the point. This epitomizes what it means to “Sayin’ a lot when you just pick a little.” It all just rolled off your fingers with gorgeous tone. Curious to know what kind of amp set you you are using. Let me know please. Thanks.

I really like rockabilly music—you capture the sound of the 1950s perfectly.

Nice clean playing, sounds very accomplished to my ears, you’re ready to step into a band.
