Are you ready to rock? This one took an incredible amount of effort and time to produce. I made so many takes and retakes and just to get the rhythm part down was really what sucked up most of the time. I thought the lead part would be easy, but I had more trouble laying down the lead part. It just broke me this time. My fingers are raw.

OK, here are the licks repurposed. EP577 Bar 4 for part in A section at 0:20, and EP094 Bar 1 for E blues part at 0:48. Screen shots below the main video. There is also another lick that I just created in there that was probably pieced together using other things I have learned along the way. You’ll probably be able to pick out the hook right away.

I’m just glad it’s over and video has been produced. Way too much work this time.

Go slow and practice correct technique, and your abilities will dramatically improve.

Well, it was worth the blood sweat and tears (yours, I mean). Great idea to use two guitars like that. You came up with a great submission.

            Excellent tone both guitars.

That’s some fine picking, Michael. Excellent post with both guitars nice and tight with the track. Really creative ideas with the licks you chose to work in. Your blood sweat and tears paid off with a great recording.

Epic! That guitar hook just rocks. The lead is powerful but refined. Some ear catching chord changes too. Bravo! 👏

Yep, I can see that a ton of work went into that, but it was worth it. I can also see why your fingers were worn raw. Well played Michael!

Wow, man! What a great blues rock song. Licks fits perfect to this Robin Trower style playing.
                            Great stuff Michael.
