        Les & Mary Ford performing How High The Moon – nothing unusual because this was a common song in their repertoire
        But….. his guitar looks like it started as a Les Paul Custom
        * He replaced the knobs and PUP selector switch with chicken knobs
        * Between the pickups is a black plastic cover, similar to Alvin Lee’s 335. He had installed a Strat pickup.
        * He had a white plastic cover where the Vol & Tone controls were.

        With Les being an inventor and one who constantly tinkered, who know what may have been in that guitar

            I wonder why the attached goose neck microphone never caught on? Not that it could possibly have been working in that clip as the guitar has only one standard jack output.
