Took lot of Brian´s licks and periods from different lessons and put them together on one backing track.
Does it qualified as response – you decide. -

Yep, the the pro level repurpose is using any and every lick you know to create music, which you did brilliantly for this bluesy piece. Fantastic playing Lights.
Go slow and practice correct technique, and your abilities will dramatically improve.

Rhythmic and smooth picking, Lights. I recognize many of these licks from learning the same lessons. Great job putting them all together.

That’s a fine medley of blues licks all stitched together masterfully,
I reckon you could play that in your sleep ! You look so comfortable with it .
Excellent submission, I enjoyed all four minutes of it .Martin

Of course it qualifies as a response – it’s a masterpiece. I really don’t know how you kept that going for over 4 minutes. It was spot on all the way through. Brilliant playing.

A brilliant example of how to shuffle your way through most of the acoustic lesson we’ve known. So well played my acoustic buddy Meelis, it amazes me that you can remember them all. Fabulous rendition.

Great idea Lights! I remember most of those licks, so it was fun trying to remember where they came from. Your fingerpicking was always pretty flawless, but it seems like it’s even more flawless lately. Well played, and yes – it qualifies for this challenge. I think maybe Brian should turn your idea into a lesson called “Play all the licks you’ve ever learned as one song.”

Very well done, you make look effortless with the finger picking. I listened to your song yesterday when I was at work and a few hours later I still had it in my head.
That says a lot. Well done. -

That’s a great example of what this challenge was all about: take one or more licks and see where it takes you. You created a very pleasing blend of licks.

Well that eliminated the tricky “what lick should I choose” question. Just play them all!!
Fantastic medley. I had such a good time just listening and thinking “oh yeah I remember that one”. A few seconds later…. “Oh yeah, that one too!” -

I recognized all the lessons and you made a fantastic shuffle mix.

Love how you come on out fire with the EP 303-sounds AMAZING. You are presenting so many fine licks, appreciate how you do this all with your fingers. I am hearing licks from EP 305 maybe?? It’s neat how you incorporate all of them into a MASTERCLASS MONSTER jam! Excellent!!John

Thanks John for those lesson references, I was struggling to find the lessons that packed all those licks, but EP303 was definitely one of them.
Go slow and practice correct technique, and your abilities will dramatically improve.

Definitely qualified as a response Light! And what a response! Beautiful submission!

Hi Lights, you were made for a good shuffling, fingerpicking blues. Just wonderfully played, some great ideas, and so many of them. Really enjoyed it!

I have seen all kinds of responses to challenges on this site. I have seen members do things completely unrelated to the challenge. Ya, I think you get credit +. You took a lot of different lesson licks and put them togethe. in to a 12 barre format ….really well done! Pap

Top of the Class, Lights. Many licks and woven together seamlessly. You have always been very good at combining the fingerstyle lessons over the years. But what is more noticeable now is your crisp and clean playing in these guitar marathons for the whole duration. This is a showcase of your ability.
