Hi AM friends,
this time I just plugged in my little Yamaha THR10 amp, pressed record on my mobile phone and did my best to make my playing interesting. I am alternating between G and D and the transitions are made up of sus-chords, 7ths, double stops and scale notes. I was quite surprised that I had already played four minutes when I hit the stop button. I would have guessed more like two! And I could have gone for much longer, so much fun I had. I hope you enjoy, too.
Now I am looking forward to see all your submissions. -

I thought you were going to go Eddie Van Halen for a moment there (Top of the World). That’s a really heavy tone out of that Yamaha THR10 amp. Of course I like it with the rock theme and it looks like you had fun with this one keeping it up for 4 minutes. Well done.
Go slow and practice correct technique, and your abilities will dramatically improve.

That was some serious rocking out, Kevin! Very impressive to be able to play like that for 4 minutes and make it sound good like you did. Obviously you had fun with it since you even lost the track of time 🙂 Those Yamaha amps are amazing, this sounded like some big amp setup 🤯

Way to go Trem! Awesome playing and tone from that amp and SG.

I love the groove you established and the lead riffs are equally enjoyable. Great tone too!

I am amazed at the tone you got out of your Yamaha amp. I’ve never heard one in person, but the tone came through on your recording. Nice jam!
