Hi AMers
For the 2 chord challenge I wanted to create a bit of a funky Dorian style.
I took a funky drummer and bass guitar from GarageBand and played an acoustic guitar rhythm vamp in Am / D7.
The licks are mostly inspired by Brian and a bit from the “Cajun moon” solo.I realized that A Major7 and A Augmented work over the 2 chords!
I am looking forward to watching your 2 chord ideas.

From your title I was expecting to see a collaboration but then realised Amby and Piney are the names of your guitars 😂 Piney is a beaut!
This was a great watch. Really enjoyed it

Hi Denise , love the groove and the Dorian sound goes so well with it , the phrasing in this one just flows , I like the way you let a few bars go by in the middle , “playing space “ is the way to go . It’s a nice touch.
You’ve dialled in a superb tone , love that break up when you dig in a bit .Martin

Absolutely wonderful performance, Denise – had me ‘chair-dancing’ right from the off 😂😂. I particularly loved the harmonised lead section, and the tone of Piney was just perfect 👏👏 Loved it – Mark 👍🎶😎

Terrific jazzy composition, Denise. Rhythmic throughout and the great licks fitted perfectly. Well played with a great tone on both guitars

Pro level stuff Denise. Can’t get enough of that strat magic.
Go slow and practice correct technique, and your abilities will dramatically improve.

Excellent Denise. It reminded me of Santana.

You could jam for hours on those two chords. Good layering of three tracks and some nice melodies. How long does it take you to merge the videos? It’s more and more common these days but not easy when you’re starting out. What’s your experience?

You couldn’t have come up two better chords from which to lay out your spicy, sultry riffage. Love the groove and the ending was dynamic. You leave me wanting more.John

It’s amazing how much music can come from just two chords, Denise. You really prove that here. I especially like how you let those two chords guide you to the melody.

Really love your style here, Denise. Well composed and played. The funky beat the classy licks and the pauses all add to a great two chord tune.

Oh, just love that funky rhythm!!! Started off so good already with the track, then the acoustic rhythm! Then the strat soloing took it to yet another level, so jazzy and funky – yeah! Love the pauses that make the listener anticipate the next round of danceable melodies, very nice, Denise! Bravo!

Well played, Denise! To my ears, that falls into the category of latino jazz. I’m thinking Coconut Grove, South Beach in Miami, Puerto Rico…..
