        Hi AM Friends,

I decided to do an Emaj7 and C#m7 for this one and then added some lead fills. Sounded kinda dark and Foo Fighter-ish to me. These are so fun to do but unfortunately I don’t have much time since joining a band. So this was a quick one and I was lazy putting together the video, but most importantly I did it, lol.

Such atmospheric, relaxing music. You could listen to those two chords for a long time.

Really good application of musical space. Well done.

Go slow and practice correct technique, and your abilities will dramatically improve.

Yes, it did sound a bit dark, Alan, but very atmospheric. The lead fills worked well and added to the general spookishness.

This reminds me of Show Me How by Foo Fighters. So I completely agree that it’s Foo Fighters-ish!

                This is great!

Thanks, yeah it does sound similar. I like how Dave approaches rhythm guitar from a drummer perspective (even though I’m not a drummer). You can hear him hitting high and low strings at different times when playing a chord (eg. Everlong and others). I was trying to do this as I sped things up towards the end. However, I didn’t realize where I got that until I was done.

Really dark and moody but open and airy at the same time!

The chords are kind of disorienting but that lead really ties it together. Great stuff!

I love how you let the tones develop and how the intensity increases in your piece, Alan. Even though you didn’t have much time, you did a great job. Have fun and good luck with your band!

Good one, Alan! Both chords were sounding kind of “unresolved” as Brian might say. So now I’m sitting here feeling kind of unresolved, and I’d better go get a cup of coffee to help resolve myself….. Very creative, well played!

Most enjoyable. It’s always good when the 2 chords are balanced volume wise with the lead work. Great job on this.
