Hello fellow AM’rs,
This is a call and response composition. I enjoyed playing around with some ideas and then putting it together. I probably spent an equal amount of time putting video slideshow together. Not sure how YT picks the header pic. Weird….they always seem to be random. Anyone know how to control that? Just curious. Hope everyone is well. Cheers. Pap

Cool and hard driven Call and Response Pap. Sounding great on your acoustic. Re: Header Pic. YouTube seems to have changed their system. You used to get 3 options, now you don’t. I’ve just discovered Canva.com. You can take a photo, add a heading etc and then save it, then upload the photo to go at the front of your video. All the best! 😎🎸😎

Thank you for this one. The music is just great but also your impressive slideshow. We, camerawoman and me, enjoy it very much as it reminds us of our travels in 2015. Again thank you

Certainly an energetic call and response Pap, I think if I tried that sequence I would certainly need a few scoops of Ben & Jerry’s afterwards. Glad the trip was successful, complete with some stunning scenery.

Pap,
This could be your best submission. You improvement/development as a strong rhythm player is noticeable. Congrats. Nicely choreographed but more importantly, your smoothness and consistency both shine. This was nice. You can control the slide thing… if you go to edit, you will see the opportunity to decide which slide you want first. Or, you can upload one to the video and use it. Just follow the prompts. If you have questions PM me.

Nicely done, Pap. Your making smoother chord changes and keeping a steady rhythm even at this fast tempo. It’s amazing how much of the country you covered on your trip. Great pictures.

That was spritely and a wonderful counterpoint to the slides. You were in some of my favorite spots in New England, including the Vermont Country Store, Ben & Jerry’s in Stowe and perhaps Northwoods Maine. (Niagara Falls itself was great. The Canadian ticky tacky town, I could live without.) Anyway, this was one of your best pieces recently and very well done. The chord changes were all quick and solid and the strumming was powerful.

Great playing, great video, Pap! I can tell you’ve been practicing a lot. I remember when you first joined AM and were kind of unsure about your playing skills, but those days are long gone. You play like a real pro now.

Oh Steve, I will never forget that 1st submission. But on a positive note, in addition to Brian’s fantastic lessons, I have been able to continue because of the help and positive support from this forum.

Hi Pap, great composition! You’ve got a driving groove all the way through, and some powerful, melodic, licks and strums. I enjoyed it a lot. I can tell you’ve been practicing, the results are there in your musicality and your playing.

What an exciting post Pap! Musically you composed a beautiful song. It has such a great groove with a strong and energetic strum pattern, and complementary melodic lines. And visually your travel pics are a lot of fun. Thanks for bringing the NA NE to the forum. Tom

Terrific stuff Pap – I think you covered many musical genres there. It all sounded excellent and was done at a fast tempo – it made it really exciting. Really well done.
