        Just came across this.

The melody of the notes is what expresses the art of music . 🙂 6stringerPete

It really is all about ”melody”. The melody comes from a language from our heart. Our heart is the muscle in music harmony. The melody is the sweetness that it pumps into our musical thoughts on the fretboard. 🙂 6 stringer Pete

          Thanks for posting this

Love Beck’s music and playing. Every since Wired and Blow by Blow, I’ve been listening to him. My wife can spot his music immediately but can’t stand to listen to it. That seems to the case with many – you either love it or you can’t stand it.

To me, Jeff’s playing has been very influential over the years because he has always marched to the beat of a very different drummer. His techniques and his music being so different, he opens the thinking of others and makes them to expand what can be done.

He has had an incredible bassist in recent years but she is like Beck in many ways in that she has taken bass to a different level. Here is a good example of Tal Wilkenfeld. She is 26 and looks like she is going on 14 but she is such a great player
