I don’t see anything wrong with it. Although I’m not a real hillbilly, I’ve been kind of a hobo since I’ve been 18.

The melody of the notes is what expresses the art of music . 🙂 6stringerPete

It really is all about ”melody”. The melody comes from a language from our heart. Our heart is the muscle in music harmony. The melody is the sweetness that it pumps into our musical thoughts on the fretboard. 🙂 6 stringer Pete

I grew up in southern Ohio, really close to the Ohio River.

Since we wasn’t from Kentucky or West Virginia, we were hill-williams instead of hillbillies.

I lived on 80 acres of woodlands, nearest neighbor was half mile away. Funny, when I go back to that region, it isn’t much different than a lot of places that I know of in Kentucky or West Virginia. I wouldn’t want to move back there but Lexington Ky and westward is a great place.

Saw a reality show a while back about Hillbillies. He defined hillbilly as taking a hippie and a redneck and mixing them together. 🙂 Had a good laugh at that one. You should check out The Wild And Wonderful Whites of West Virginia

Don’t know. Ever see Deliverance? Now those were some LIVE “take it in the backside” hillbillies. Now if you’re talking The Beverly Hillbillies, hell no, I’d swim in that ceee-ment pond with Ellie-May any day!
