        I played over this same backing track in April 2025 and thought I’d do it again to see if there’s any improvement in my playing. I think I’m getting there but still need a lot of practice!

          Yeah Joe, I like the Fender-Hawaiian shirt version. The phrasing, bends slides and vibrato all show impovement. The recording quality got better also. I need a hat now. 🤷‍♂️

            There is no doubt the Fender version is a better quality recording and it does sound better. One thing you are very good at Joe is the fast Tremelow you did on that first recording – i cannot so that nearly as well as you do 👌

              Definite improvement for sure Joe. Phrasing is flowing and overall solo is sounding more musical. Background is cool too. Practise makes progress, you’re making giant steps. Well done. All the best! 😎🎸😎
