I’m reading a book titled John & Paul, A Love Story In Songs by Ian Leslie.
It’s really interesting. Any Beatles fan would enjoy it.
I always loved “I’ll Be Back”. The acoustic guitar drives the song and the harmonies sound so good. Those lads could really craft a great tune. 🎵

Only recognized the song when you launched into the vocal. Beautiful, James, and yes, they created so much of the music that takes me back to my formative years and still stands the test of time.

Everything about this is so impressive, James. Your vocal harmonies blew me away. Your guitar work is superb. You definitely made the lads proud. I will find the book you mentioned. Thanks for the tip and for the wonderful music.

Tuning is down a half step. The vibe of the song has changed dramatically with this rendition, but it works. Nice work James.

Go slow and practice correct technique, and your abilities will dramatically improve.

What’s better than James playing/singing? Two of them! Nicely put together and great playing/singing.

Excellent James. I liked the doubling up on the vocals. Sounded great 👍

I remember hearing this when I was 6 or 7. Revolver? Rubber Soul? Your vocals and lush deep rhythm sound sound superb Jim. Love the way you cover these oldies that guided us through the formative years. Well done! Thank you.

Hi James, I’m really glad that you, too, are a fan of those old, beautiful melodies and that you perform them so wonderfully on guitar and vocals.
“I’ll Be Back” isn’t one of the Beatles’ global hits, but it does indeed feature simple yet wonderful chords and has that unique flair that was so typical of the Beatles.
By the way, we also had that song in our setlist back when I was in a band.
