Hello, it’s the Beatles again with the acoustic guitar festival “I’ve Just Seen a Face” from the Help album, written by Paul McCartney.
Simple cowboy chords, but the challenge was the fast tempo and maintaining precision. (At first I was afraid I’d never be able to do it, but somehow I managed.) In the original, Paul played the intro and the rest in 1/16 notes. John also played in A, but with a capo on the 2nd fret in G chords. George did his solo part on the 12-string Framus, I used my Italian EKO from 1964 for that.
There is no bass in the original, but I added my own bass line. Unfortunately, I didn’t quite achieve the warm, soft sound I wanted when mixing, but I still like it – and hopefully you will too.

Love all the acoustic guitar parts in that song – great song. Very nicely played with that tempo Dieter.

Great cover, Dieter. Love the intro and the solo. That’s some fast strumming.

                    Bravo Dieter 👏 👏 👏.

That was brilliantly done and I loved how you had the timing so spot in with this one.

I’ve to confess it’s the first time I listen to this Beatles’ song, and so first of all thanks for introducing me to it! Then I loved you acoustic work on this one, very well played on your acoustic guitars and very enjoyable to listen to! Great cover, Dieter.

I totally agree with John H. – this has always been one of my all-time favorite Beatles tunes, and you played it perfectly. Your timing is spot-on, which is challenging in the context of this fast-paced strumming. Wonderful.

Wow, speeding ticket material Dieter! Fantastic! I must admit, I don’t think I’ve heard this Beatles song before but it’s a beauty. All the best! 😎🎸😎
