I think maybe I did when I was a teenager. Have you guys named yours.

The melody of the notes is what expresses the art of music . 🙂 6stringerPete

It really is all about ”melody”. The melody comes from a language from our heart. Our heart is the muscle in music harmony. The melody is the sweetness that it pumps into our musical thoughts on the fretboard. 🙂 6 stringer Pete

O yeah, I’m just that vain. Here are the names that I’ve given to them and it is mostly female names to rib my wife a bit

G&L ASAT – Ashley because the body is made of swamp ash
G&L S-500 – Ginger because is a brown burst that is similar to the color of ginger.
Ibanez AGS83 – Rusti because the flat tobacco finish is somewhat rustic in appeance.
Sanatoga SAN400 – Amber because the finish is an amber burst
          Peavey JF1 – Big Red
Gibson Blueshawk – Little Red. The finish of this guitar and the Peavey is almost identical.

I told my wife that I didn’t name the acoustics that I had at the time because they were my concubines.

She just shakes her head and tells me that I need help.

I’ve never even thought about it. Man, BH, you really got into it.
Pete, do you remember the name you used when you were a teenager?

Yeah I’m bored. Just thought was a good way to help my wife deal with my GAS problem. (Guitar Acquisition Syndrome).

Some guys have their guns, some have their fishing equipment, some have their truck or car. I have my guitars.

But guitars are designed to look like beautiful women. Nice to have a concubine next to you. lol
