Stephan Grossman has been around acoustic guitar for many years. I have a basic slide book from him that is decent. Has anyone here purchased any of his other books? He has many I am curious.

I haven’t purchased any of his books but he is one of the best guitar players / instructors around.

Don’t have his, but I have : David Hamburger – Acoustic Slide Guitar Basics and it is very good.
The melody of the notes is what expresses the art of music . 🙂 6stringerPete
It really is all about ”melody”. The melody comes from a language from our heart. Our heart is the muscle in music harmony. The melody is the sweetness that it pumps into our musical thoughts on the fretboard. 🙂 6 stringer Pete

I have one on Finger Picking & a video tape as well. He’s obviously a pretty good player but I found his tutorials difficult to get into. The tab that came with the tape is hand written & I found that it just looked like a lot of chicken scratchings on the page it was terribly confusing. I’m not blaming him, I thought that I was not advanced enough to understand them, so I put them away till I reach that level.
