If you can’t find anyone in your area directly from this forum, just post a message in FB marketplace or other online place to advertise you desire to find other guitar players interested in learning new things and playing guitar together on a regular basis. Our neighborhood has their own social media group and if you have something like that, you can start there. If they are not AM members, see if you can sign them up or get them interested in it. Might want to get bass players and drummers involved too for maximum fun.

Go slow and practice correct technique, and your abilities will dramatically improve.
