FEBRUARY 2026 CHALLENGE EP629 IN D

Hello AM’rs
Here we go for our February challenge. I chose EP629 in the key of D because I want to zero in on where we find the flat 3rd’s, the blue notes and the flat 7th’s of this piece of music and Brian explains this stuff so well.
I find one of the most important and most helpful things for me is that it’s imperative to know the format of the piece and when the next chord is coming BEFORE you get to it.
I like these chromatic runs too.
It’s also helpful to play this EP629 up the neck in different keys as well.

PS I too wqnt to say kudos toJoLa for completing those 100 challenges, that is absolutely amazing.
