Hi folks,
First challenge submission in a very long time!
I’ve went with EP 621.
This lesson has been in my favourites since it was posted and I kept meaning to learn it but just never got around to it – you know how it is.
I wasn’t sure if I was going to be able to get it out as I only had a couple of hours with it yesterday and this morning and it started to become way trickier than I remembered but I think I got a decent take of it eventually.
About as many notes from the same position as possible without it sounding too busy.
Reminds you just how good Brian is at this stuff.
Hope you enjoy it.
Liam.

First of all, glad to see you in the challenge forum again after a very long time, Liam!
Great rendition of this tricky lesson, spotlessly played, with a beautiful clean tone. A bit unusual for you, because I know you prefer rock gritty tones, but it shows that you can adapt very well your style to different genres.
Lastly, congratulations on preparing this one in such a short time! I think I should learn it and practice at least for 2 weeks, playing it every day ( but probably even more)!

I think this might be the first time I’ve seen you in the Challenge and you played it perfectly.

Welcome back, Liam. And you picked the perfect lesson for your comeback.
I love this lesson, too.
And you play it as beautifully as it deserves.
It’s really amazing considering how little time you had to prepare.Take the chance to meet your AM friends on Zoom
The next Meetup will be on February 28, 2026For more information click here
I look forward to meet you.

That was really good nailing all the notes, and you seemed to dial in that groove even better as it progressed.
Go slow and practice correct technique, and your abilities will dramatically improve.

You’ve become an incredible player, Liam! With such a limited time to practice this lesson, you easily nailed it! Nice clean tone on your LP, and your playing was immaculate. Nice to see you back in the challenges, your recording shows that you have not missed a beat 🙂

Good to see you again Liam, I loved your version of this lesson and to produce that with little practice time is a real achievement. You successfully dialled in a perfect soft tone for this lay back blues.

That was clear as a bell, awesome tone. Liam, not easy to get the feel and vibe in the short time you had. But you played as if this ep was 2nd nature to you. That is a good guitarist with a great result. Good to see you in the challenges.
