Hello friends,
Starting looking at this about a week ago and tried a few different versions before settling on this one.
The timing on the album version was a total ball ache and the live versions were just as bad so I had to go for a simpler approach and condense it down to just a handful of licks.
I’m sure you’ll get the picture.
Stripped down the Genome to just a VOX cab and a light chorus.
Thanks for listening.
Liam.

Excellent cover as always Liam. You really captured the essence and feel of it. Really sounded like Freddy singing.

How did you get this past the copyright algo? It’s a great guitar cover though. Glad I could hear it before they pull it.
Go slow and practice correct technique, and your abilities will dramatically improve.

Thanks Mike.
Yeah the copyright thing is partial so it’s only in certain countries….

Clap your hands, stamp your feet – that`s really rocking. Great groovy playing and sound.

Wow Liam. You Les Paul kicks ass on this song. That heavy distortion you get out of that guitar is spot on for this song 🎵 👌.
I had to chuckle when you said the timing was a “total ball ache” 🤣

Nice playing over that Liam! My favorite Queen album that I used to listen to with a great stereo sytem with giant studio monitors. 😁

You’re really rockin’ out with this song Liam. Top song choice and your new axe is just what the doctor ordered for a Queen song like this one. Have you joined a band yet? All the best! 😎🎸😎

Still no progress on the band thing.

Hey! my comment from yesterday isn’t here, must be losing my mind. I had said this is awesome, Liam, and I am so impressed with the guitar tones you are getting. Also, how did you you get this BT without guitar?

Thanks John.
The LP itself is doing most of the heavy lifting tone wise.
I got the BT from YT. I’d normally use Karaoke but they only had the album version.

Tight rhythm playing and great tone from your axe and devices/amp Liam! Enjoyed to listen to this old classic in your version.

You made my cold-ass sick of the winter day my friend. This is FANTASTIC. Where to begin? It is so high energy, and whatever problems you may have had you eliminated Great tone, HUGE CLASSIC ROCK VIBE, and so played so well. I love your song choices and your submissions. Thanks for taking me down memory lane. Be well.
