Hi All,
Short but hopefully sweet for this one. Vintage Blues EP626. I’m playing at a reduced speed and tried to dial in an appropriate tone for this lesson. Hope everyone is well. Recorded this a couple of weeks ago. Battling Vertigo at the moment, wouldn’t wish it on anyone, not very pleasant!!!

Well played Garry-
Tempo is perfect… you hit all the ‘sweet’ spots, very fluid and tasty. I hope you are feeling better.John

Wonderful, Garry. Your tone is perfect for this. You nailed this one. Good luck with the vertigo – it is definitely not fun. I hope it passes quickly for you.

Brilliantly played and recorded, and very nice video shooting, Garry! With the close-up shots one can appreciate your flawless alternate picking technique, which results in a perfect rendition like this one! Glad also to see the old Gretsch back in action: always a pleasure to listen to her distinctive tone!
Really sorry for the vertigo: I wish you a quick recover, my friend!Guido

Nice job Garry! One of my favorites. Great tone and smooth and articulate. Very sorry to hear about the vertigo. I know first hand how debilitating that is.

Well played, Gary. Thanks for highlighting the lesson, there’s some nice licks in there.
Get well, that sounds kind of uncomfortable

Nicely played Garry. And the tone was right on the money too. I struggled with vertigo after my accident and found the Epley maneuver quite helpful (you can do it yourself at home).
