Hi All,
Hope everyone is safe and well. Loved this one from the first listen and really enjoyed learning it. Tried to dial in an appropriate tone and think it’s turned out okay. No extra cycle this time. Have a great weekend.

Well played, Gary. Lots of tough licks in that one.

That sounds great Garry. I really like that tone and I thought the tempo really added a lot of feeling to the piece.

Well played Garry, love that Gretsch.
Go slow and practice correct technique, and your abilities will dramatically improve.

You nailed this one, as always, Garry. Tasty licks, impressive technique, terrific tone, very emotive and expressive. Well done, sir.

Brilliant Garry 👏 👏
One thing I enjoy about this forum is hearing how the same lesson is interpreted completely differently by different people.
I did a version of this that was heavily distorted just for the hell of it but I definitely prefer your cleaner interpretation. Also, different to the way Brian played this. Awesome!

Impeccable timing and excellent slow bends. Nice one Garry. Beautiful guitar too.

Spot on Garry, so articulate with your playing and sound. Always a pleasure to watch and listen. (Keep cool! it is better being a guitar player than a tennis player at the moment) AO.

Brilliantly played Garry! Really a very technical and challenging lesson, everything is not easy to play in this one: the timing, tough licks, those bends – from half to full bend – and so long. And your rendition was spotless! I agree that the tone from your Gretsch and your amp is spot-on! Another great rendition!

Thanks for listening John, much appreciated. I’ve actually had my Gretsch since COVID 2020. I give it an airing every once in a while, it’s definitely got a unique sound. All the best! 😎🎸😎
