        Hi AMers,

Hope you’re all well having a good weekend!

I’m back again with another recording, this time EP414.

This is another piece that I learnt quite early on (I searched all the lessons for anything with ‘easy’ in the title). Whilst I didn’t struggle to learn this piece, I disagree somewhat that it’s easy. The slower speed really puts an emphasis on each individual note played so it’s easy for it to sound a bit meh.

This was the best take I was willing to get. It’s the middle of a heatwave where I live, I don’t have AC, and I therefore gave up 😂 (but sharing to showcase my journey)

Very nice! Sounds like a great vibe for a slow late night whiskey jam!

Well Ben, it’s always a joy to hear your playing. It’s all about expressing each note or run of notes in your own special way which you do really well. The hard work is definitely paying off.

Go slow and practice correct technique, and your abilities will dramatically improve.

Great lesson to choose Ben. A very expression take on this and I love the gritty tone you’ve dialled in. Well played. All the best! 😎🎸😎
