A little trip into Django Reinhardt’s world. Brian wrote this wonderful “Gypsy Jazz.” A piece to just sit back and relax to.

Melodic, sweet and technically immaculate. Well-done, as always, Dieter. I’ve been a long-time Django Reinhardt / Stéphane Grappelli fan. There is a terrific book by Michael Dregni called Django, The Life and Music of a Gypsy Legend. He was known as “Django” – a Gypsy name meaning “I awake.” His legal name was Jean Reinhardt. His life story is amazing.

            Simply smashing Dieter!

So relaxing. The beauty is in your feeling in your emotions on that 6 stringer.

The melody of the notes is what expresses the art of music . 🙂 6stringerPete

It really is all about ”melody”. The melody comes from a language from our heart. Our heart is the muscle in music harmony. The melody is the sweetness that it pumps into our musical thoughts on the fretboard. 🙂 6 stringer Pete

                  Really excellent Dieter 👏 👌.

I saw this one from Brian and it looked like a tough one. Kudos to you for doing it so well.

                    Nicely played Dieter.
                    Gorgeous tone on acoustic.

Great and spotless rendition, Dieter! Liked very much the sound of your nylon string guitar: you have a great collection of fine acoustic instruments!

Thank you for bringing this piece back to the top. I think it’s one of Brian’s masterpieces. I tried it too a while ago, but not as well and as harmoniously as your interpretation. Thank you very much.
