For this one, I joined forces with Dan D. He played the lead and I played the rhythm part!
We had a load of fun doing this! Can/US united! -

Pretty cool, guys – well done! Well played. My only complaint: Julie’s part needs to be a bit louder.

Very nice, guys! Great duet, you would switch the parts sequently, would be more cool! Well done anyway.

Steve,
I wish but Dan’s recording equipment is the drawback. I was not able to control the sound levels on both tracks. Here is without the lead: https://youtu.be/j-_l-M6UPic

Lights,
This would be super cool but if you look hard enough, Dan is missing a finger on his fretting hand and barre chords can’t be done… but he can play like there is no tomorrow! -

Congrats on putting that together! You guys did a great groundbreaking job. What’s next? A rhythm section? Brian and the Active Melodymakers!

Really nice you two.
I was wondering when this would happened after DaveK and I collaborated.
Hope we can do it again.
Would be nice to have more AMers do it.
WE have more coming, in good time.AndreM

Great collaboration. Nice to see this cross border co-operation. Great rhythm, Julie. Dan, you had great feel and attack. I often complain to myself that my inflexible fingers make obstacles for me but now I’m just going to shut up about it.

So nice to see members getting together and doing this, you guys were great! I think we used to have a special section for these but it never caught on and was later eliminated.

Hey Julie, I listened to your recording, and it seems to be good quality. And in the duet Dan’s seems to be good quality also. So it’s just a matter of mixing them to get them into proper balance. What DAW are you using?

Steve,
WHat he does is he plays my video along with the track and records along with it. That way, I lose all controls ( phone recording on his end).I am ok with it as I get to play with someone and create something sweet!
