Loved the raw blues Meelis, with a full rounded tone from your acoustic. You certainly gave your fingers a work out, I think I’d have break a few joints to get that stretch. Thanks for posting ……

Cool! Nice to see you enjoying playing the blues. Each chorus had its own unique feel and the whole piece flowed well together. Great ending too!

Nice job, Lights. By coincidence, I’ve also been playing EP149 during the past couple of weeks, but I play it in A (easier for my fingers to reach the notes). I’ve been trying to work out that second part of the lesson where it goes into a plain solo with no call and response. To me, it sounds a bit naked, with no jamtrack. I’m working on adding in a drone bass, or maybe more call and response. One day, I accidentally did it and it sounded cool, but now I can’t remember what I did. It’s because I don’t meditate enough.

These two transition really well Lights. Great choice of Blues and really well played: steady rhythm shuffle, cool slides, fast single note runs! Is that a different acoustic or is it just the change of background that’s confusing me? All the best and love that ‘snap’.

Hey Lights, nothing better than “on the porch” Blues. No band, no backing track. Just you and your gitfiddle! Well done and passionate as always my friend! Bob

Real nice tempo and fingerwork there Melis!! A nice steady blues sound from that beautiful acoustic you have there!! I must say though I kind of miss the green palm plant in the background!!

Meelis, I like the dry blues. He is honest and shows the face of an acoustic guitar, which always goes with the blues. Your finger snap wasn’t missing either; LOL.
Since you missed the backing track, I was able to concentrate very much on your technique; it’s really really good and you keep expanding your possibilities. In your place, I would also play your acoustic sound with a backing track, since it was created for an accompaniment like the one you play. I think you have a completely new variant.
The dry blues you played fits into a smoky blues pub with a glass of beer; I’d drink that and listen to you, old buddy.Play guitar just like you live; don't get bogged down in theory, it's just a tool without feeling.
