Wishing everyone a happy, healthy and productive new year! Thank you, Brian! Thank you as always, JoLa, for all of the help with these. If this is flawless, it’s thanks to you. Thanks to everyone for your participation!
This was another popular Challenge. This one topped the rest so far with 91 people participating this weekend! Last month we heard from 85 people, the month before that 87, we’re on a roll! And everyone that I heard sounded great!
Welcome to this month’s new Challenge participants, Neil W., Juxi, Fred McCoy, Martin Sommer, Patrick M., Jesse S. and Guitardan2265! Welcome James C., back to the Challenge after over 3 years. I’m glad to see everyone, and I’m looking forward to hearing your next posts. Welcome back to all the people on their second and third challenges! If you’re into building your skills, you’re in the right place!
I was going to start including the lesson numbers this month (and I’ve said this before) but I was overwhelmed by the sheer numbers (that isn’t a complaint; I’m very happy to see all the participation).
I’m sorry if I missed any new participants or if I missed posting anyone’s video, missed some information (like a title) or got something wrong, please let me know, I’ll be happy to fix it, thanks!
To all new participants, in addition to “welcome,” if you would like to use the messages, please first send a friend request to the person you want to communicate with.

Hey Don
Wow! That’s a lot of work you put into that. Many thanks. The new year is starting off to be great one.The melody of the notes is what expresses the art of music . 🙂 6stringerPete
It really is all about ”melody”. The melody comes from a language from our heart. Our heart is the muscle in music harmony. The melody is the sweetness that it pumps into our musical thoughts on the fretboard. 🙂 6 stringer Pete
