I have absolutely no idea what this song is about but it’s definitely fun to play and has helped with my timing!

        Thanks for watching!

A true “classic,” performed with wonderful feeling.

Unfortunately, songs like this—with such high “recognition value”—are practically nonexistent these days.

Shake the walls down. That made me crank up the bass and jam. Awesome cover and virtual lesson on how to play it. That’s a nice and simple one that has a lot of power to it. Now my wife cannot complain about me not touching my bass.

Root note patterns >>> CAGED shapes >>> TRIAD'S. Just put in the work and watch your guitar skills soar.

Thanks Michael. It’s a real pleasure to play this song, as many things on the bass are (so far). Glad I could provide a jam track for you haha

Love that Beatles song and these high recognizable bass riffs. Such a classic!
                          Very well played.

                          More Blues!

                              Hi Ben,

A tight performance. Very smooth and true to the original.

Adding Bass to your routine will definitely improve your musicianship noticeably.

Great bass cover Ben, it sounds really like the real thing! I always say to my self that I’ve to learn bass, but then I’m too lazy 😅! Definitely many of the great guitarist know how to play bass very well, for example my hero David Gilmour.

About the meaning of the lyrics , I’m not of course a mother tongue speaker and therefore not the most qualified to say something, but Billy Joel recently said that “John Lennon tent to screw people’s minds up rather than follow traditional storytelling”. He noted that “Lennon cared deeply about the phonetic sound and emotional impact of words over literal meaning”.

                                    Thanks for watching, Guido!

I also thought I was too lazy to learn the bass but some pieces can be learnt so quickly. I would recommend it to any guitarist!

And yes the more I listen to the Beatles, the more I realise that some of their lyrics are nonsense. But great, all the same!
